Volunteers are needed at all of our 15 Northern and Central California locations. Perhaps you --or someone you love -- has received blood and you would like to make a difference in someone else’s life. Perhaps you’re a blood donor who wants to do even more than you already do. Whatever your motivation, we are grateful for your interest in becoming a BloodSource volunteer.

What are the qualifications?

If you are willing to give your time and can provide cheerful customer service to our donors and guests, you are qualified to be a BloodSource volunteer.

A six-month commitment

Because we want you to truly become part of BloodSource, we ask that you make at least a six-month commitment.

Training

Every volunteer receives basic orientation, job and customer service training. Federal and state laws require that every volunteer also attend safety training. Safety training takes less than two hours and is offered at most BloodSource locations.
