Host a Blood Drive

Types of drives

There are two types of mobile blood drives. The decision to use either of these setups is based on the space available and the number of donors you can attract.

Bloodmobile

Bloodmobile
BloodSource has self-contained bloodmobiles designed to comfortably accommodate up to 50 donors. The bloodmobile requires 8 to 10 level parking spaces and nearby restrooms. Because our units are self-contained, we do not need electrical hookups or water.

Inside setup

inside setupBloodSource will use a bed setup that can easily manage up to 250 donors and more. The best room for a mobile blood drive is a large room that is not only conveniently located for donors, but is also easily accessible to staff and equipment, i.e., on the ground floor or close to an elevator. Depending on the number of donor beds provided by BloodSource, you will be asked to provide a number of 6- to 8-foot tables and chairs.
